I was inspired by a 90's photograph of New York's nightlife featured on cult lifestyle Instagram account @havochenry. The minute I saw this photograph, I knew I had to create an oil painting of the limousine and passengers inside. I decided not to create an accurate rendition of the photograph but experiment with large brushstrokes to enhance the vibrant colours and to develop my own personal oil painting style.
