'Vessel #1'

Black ink & oil pastels on paper

630mm x 930mm

Ink is a substance I have always been less likely to use. The way you cannot control the way it moves is unsettling. I had never seemed to venture past that fixed mindset, however when I created 'The Vessel' successfully, there was no excuse not to use it in a new iteration of the original work. The combination of the oily pastel and ink gliding down the paper creates a striking image similar to that of Zaha Hadid's sketches.
