Today, the ‘Square Colosseum’ is the Fendi HQ, and I wanted to create a concept that was inspired by my ‘Neo- Colosseo 1’ photograph that reimagines the iconic building's facade, bringing it into the 21st century. Through the use of coated polystyrene board, I laser cut the original structure to scale and created a flowing facade resembling a toga on the side facing the ancient centre of Rome, as well as a striking metallic mesh resembling some of Fendi’s eccentric designs on the side facing the more modern part of the city, which Fendi attempts to revitalise.
